Opening comments:  More at the end.

In these troubled times it is great to win a few and here is the E-mail sent out telling us that our efforts to stop a power generation plant right on the door step of an residential area had been successful.

However, one only a couple miles to the east and closer to Toronto is still a possibility.
Again, it is in Mississauga.
Why is the City Mississauga the target of  of so many polluting power plants?

We would like to take the opportunity to thank you for your feedback and participation in the proposal process.
Community involvement is a vital part of this process and we appreciate you taking the time to communicate with us.

In response to the Ontario government’s Request for Proposals (RFP) for new clean energy generation, EPCOR recently proposed to build, own, and operate a medium-sized, natural gas-fired power plant in the Dixie Employment District in Mississauga.
As EPCOR’s proposal was not selected for this RFP, we will not be pursuing this project at this time.

We look forward to working with you on future projects.

Thank you, Paul McMillan
